Belly dancing attracted me from a very young age, but it wasn’t until I was 42 years old that the thought matured. I chose the Shaba Oriental Art Dance School for the simple reason that it was close. At that time, I would not have imagined what a treasure I would find with this simply rational decision! Shaba Oriental Art is not just a dance school, but a real community that welcomes, accepts, keeps, and elevates. Shaba and Ági are not only excellent dancers and teachers who accompany us on this journey with incredible attention and patience but also mentors, spiritual helpers, and true friends! We can get to know the movements at our own pace, as well as the related dance history and culture history background while awakening our femininity and learning to love ourselves and of course each other much, much more. This dance, this community, has been a part of my life for six years now, and according to my plans, it will stay that way. (Dori)
